An immersive musical experience in semi-darkness with visual projections
Step into a world of light and sound as The Canterbury Chamber Choir presents The Breath of LIfe — an immersive choral performance where you are free to move through the candlelit space, watch the singers up close, and let the music surround you.
This unique concert invites you to experience choral music not just as a listener, but as part of the soundscape itself — walking around the musicians, pausing in pools of light, and feeling voices rise and fade all around you.
Musical Director, Peter Futcher, has curated a programme of immense depth and warmth, brimming with energy and light. We want you to feel the energy and to be consumed by the sounds of 40 voices.
Programme highlights:
Matthew Coleridge The Breath of Life
Pearsall Lay a Garland
Peter Futcher In paradisum (first performance)
